The ever delightful Chris Rovo as a dancing fire elemental… not that this is far from the truth. I had fun with this one. Drawing flames wrapping around an object in motion turned out to be quite a challenge to render with lines. I feel like I went a little overboard with the detail, some form appears to get lost in the mess, but I had trouble achieving the rushing effect on the flames without it. Perhaps next time I draw something fire centric I can find a better balance.
Birthday gift for my sister, an avid whovian. I wish the text had come out a little less janky, but I feel it turned out well regardless. I wanna put this on a t-shirt.
Another birthday drawing this time of the positively delightful Ciara Blossom! She is a grand performance artist and makes hoops and musics and does all kind of cool stuffs. Check out her website if you’re interested in learning more about this shining individual and the awesome things she does.
Been sitting on this idea for a while, glad to finally get it out! Can’t wait to get this thing printed.
Losing a lot of detail in this one. Originally drawn at 24"x18". Hoping to both do a poster print with the currently unfinished digital colors and watercolor the original illustration. We’ll see how long it takes me to get to all of that jazz.
The first big drawing inked with my relatively new brush pen. I gotta use that thing more.
I don’t know where this came from, but here it is! I’m tentatively planning to put some watercolors on this, but I just started learning them and am still getting used to the basics.
And yet another birthday present. I’m doing a lot of these apparently. Heres Ben flying his yet to be completed project car; a 1977 280z. Please ignore the undercarriage that makes no sense which you probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn’t pointed it out. Whoops. Also, I like clouds.
Birthday present for Kira flyin’ high in the sky! :)
Another birthday drawing, this time for my buddy Thorne. I don’t normally do any colors traditionally, but this was a fun experiment. I wish I hadn’t filled in the dark bits of the gun though, it distracts from the rest of the image.
